IIFA kicks off in Macau

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the IIFA awards, an event that attracts a worldwide audience of millions every year. The awards began in 2000 when the first ceremony was held in London at the Millennium Dome. The event has since been held in Amsterdam, Dubai, Bangkok and Sheffield, with Macao hosting this year's festivities. This year's recipients are actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter-in-law, and Slumdog Millionaire composer AR Rahman.
